“I have always been impressed with Dr. Maxfield but after today he impressed me more than he ever has. Not only is he personable and remembers everything about me and my teeth, he discovered something today that I have been wrestling with for a long time. I had two consultations with cosmetic dental doctors to restore some discoloration on my front tooth. Both agreed that I needed a complete crown restoration. About a year ago I had purchased a “paint on” tooth whitening agent that turned out to not only discolor the tooth more, but had put an etched film over the tooth that was soaking in food stains. No other doctor mentioned or even recognized that my discolored tooth could be superficial. Dr. Maxfield stated asking questions and testing the tooth for sensitivity trying to rule out other possible problems (he’s good at that too). When I told him that I had tried the paint on whitener, he then noticed the dull film right away and buffed off the tooth, restoring much of the natural color underneath. It immediately became a much lighter color. To think I was ready to almost spend thousands of dollars to restore my smile with veneers or crowns and compromise my beautiful healthy teeth. He gave me the mirror and I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’m so thankful that I talked to him today!!!! [He] and his whole staff just make me happy!”

“I’ve been seeing Dr. Maxfield since 2005 when I had an emergency dental need. He was my grandma’s dentist and I will not see anyone else. I have driven from other states just to see him. I still drive over 40 miles one way. He is amazing and stands by his work. He takes care of his patients and knows each of us. I had huge dental needs when i started seeing him and he fixed all the messed up work from other dentists. It is rare that I need any work done anymore. I recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist and always will.”

“I have had my fair share of dental problems. Dr. Maxfield not only fixed my immediate issues, [but] he focused on tooth shape so they would be the proper shape for care, maintenance and bite. He has cutting edge technology and explores all options for your dental care. The building he is in is old and not much to look at, but we appreciate that he doesn’t need a flashy exterior (that his patients would pay for) to take excellent care of us. We definitely recommend him (and so does his staff – his hygienist Robyn said she continues to work for him because he does things right and treats his patients the best – and she subs at other dental offices regularly so she has others to compare him to).
