Dr. Rod Maxfield: Family Dentist

Dr. Maxfield was born and raised in Pleasant Grove, and very much enjoys serving patients who come to him from around the corner and across the country. He has provided thoughtful, personalized oral health care for over twenty years.
His professional training was accomplished at Creighton School of Dentistry, one of the nation’s top dental programs, in conjunction with the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Maxfield has earned degrees from Utah Valley University, the University of Utah, and Creighton University. He is a member of the ADA and a member and former president of the Utah Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of the office Dr. Maxfield enjoys all things outdoors, and is very involved with church and scouting activities. He has three daughters, two sons, and a wonderful wife, who all keep him very busy attending dance, cheer, soccer, wrestling, baseball, orchestra concerts, and on and on.
Shauna loves medicine and is licensed in phlebotomy and medical assisting. Her education and training focused on medical billing, and she spent 12 years working in dermatology until her doctor retired and we were blessed to have her join our team. She is a Utah native, and is married with two grown daughters. She loves camping, fishing, and U of U sports. Shauna has a fun and lively personality that puts patients at ease when they walk in the door!
Kimber is the newest member of our team; she has over a decade of experience in dental hygiene. She is the mother of three, and a Pleasant Grove native returning home to Utah from Arizona. She was trained in Colorado at CNCC Hygiene. Kimber has a very sweet, gentle spirit that calms and comforts everyone around her.
Brei has been a member of our team since 2014. She graduated with an Associate’s degree from Dixie State and is certified in dental radiology. She is a Pleasant Grove native, and she and her husband love camping, boating and anything outdoors. Brei is a very friendly, positive person, dedicated to patient care.
Jamie has trained in phlebotomy and all levels of dental care, and she worked as a medical assistant for several years. She is a licensed CNA and has plenty of experience with patient care, especially when it comes to older patients. From Springville, Jamie is the mother of two boys. She loves spending time with her kids outdoors and visiting national parks. Jamie enjoys sports and outdoor activities, and she loves finding new adventures.
Erica is from the Great Lakes area. She studied at both BYU-I and UVU, and completed a dental assisting program in Utah. She loves running, the arts, and music, and she plays several instruments. Erica is dedicated and caring; she treats everyone with grace and dignity.
Alicia graduated with Honors from American Fork High School. She completed MATC training in dental assisting and is certified dental assistant. She will be attending UVU in the fall, in preparation for dental hygiene school. She is an accomplished pianist, and teaches piano in her free time. Alicia is happy and personable, and we are excited to have her as a member of our team.
